A "Why" About Life Path Energy of 1

Going through my archive of student questions (and answers), I came across the following pertaining to the life path number of 1. However, if you or someone you read for has a 1 as their attitude and/ or destiny number(s), you'll also find this useful.

Question

In the definition and traits for a life path 1, why does it include "difficulty with completion"?

Answer

I like to say that this life path many times is ahead of its time in terms of pioneering new products, perspectives, and ideas. And those with a life path 1 are good at drumming up excitement regarding these new “projects". However, they tend to expend so much energy in the beginning igniting motivation in others (as well as themselves)... that they have more of a tendency to burn themselves out early... or allow rejection or early disappointments to derail that initial enthusiasm.

​At the same time, life path 1s have a perfectionistic side with not only themselves but others which can turn people away when the life path 1 needs them the most in bringing their ideas to fruition. Other times, the perfectionism of life path 1s won't trust others to help carry their projects to the 1's satisfaction and completion.

As we know, we are not meant to go it in this life alone. And that is one of the lessons of a life path 1 (as well as the life path 7). 

Now, depending on the other numbers in the life path 1's personal numerology, this life path energy can be softened around the edges with say 2s which encourages more comradery and cooperation (versus competitiveness) and 5s which encourages networking and connectiveness.

On the flip side, if there is an intensity of 1 or 7 in a person's numerology... that cooperation and assistance can prove more difficult... but doable with more of a conscious effort.
